MEMBERS of Borth Family Centre have buried a time capsule to celebrate winning a £10,000 grant.
The family centre will now transform the area next to the Family Centre into a ‘wildlife and sensory garden’ for children.
Tesco teamed up with community charity Groundwork to launch its Bags of Help initiative, which sees grants of £12,000, £10,000 and £8,000 — all raised from the 5p bag levy — being awarded to environmental and green space projects.
Over 8,000,000 votes were cast across the UK, and Borth Family Centre, on Clarach Road, has celebrated its win by burying a time capsule along with two trees donated by the Woodland Trust.
