Claims that Y Plas has just £20 left in the kitty
QUESTION marks are hanging over the financial state of one of Machynlleth’s most treasured buildings - with claims that just £20 is left in Y Plas’ Endowment Fund.

Councillors are currently refusing to discuss what was in that report, despite anonymous calls to the Cambrian News alleging that more than £300,000 had been spent and that just £20 was left in the Plas Endowment Fund - a fund established based on a gift by Colonel Beaumont to help benefit the Plas and its grounds.
