Anger at plans to scrap 'vital' bus

RESIDENTS in south Meirionnydd, who use a vital bus service to Aberystwyth, have been angered after it was announced last week that the service could come to an end.

The number 28 service bus takes passengers between Dolgellau and Aberystwyth twice a day, Monday to Saturday, and three times a day between Dolgellau and Machynlleth on Sundays.

Rumours circulated last week that the service could come to an end at the end of June.
