A Cilgerran man who drove at almost twice the speed limit through a village has been fined by magistrates.
Jonathan James Chantrey, of Delfryn, Penllyn, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 2 January.
The court heard that the 28-year-old was clocked by police laser driving a Volkswagen Caddy at 55mph on the 30mph limit B4333 at Hermon in north Pembrokeshire on 31 May.
Magistrates fined Chantrey £368 and handed him six penalty points.
He must also pay £90 costs and a £147 surcharge.
