Couple scale heights to make wishes come true

A YOUNG couple from Dwyfor are on a gruelling challenge up Snowdon this week to raise money for a special charity.

Seventeen-year-old Ivy Lucas from Cwmpennant, and 20-year-old boyfriend Aron Roberts, from Maentwrog, are tackling the slopes of Snowdon five times in five days.

The challenge began on Monday, 16 August, and the couple are currently coming to the end of their challenge.

They plan on going up Snowdon on five different paths to the summit.

The couple are raising money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation UK. Which is a charity that grants the wishes of children with severe illnesses.
