Centre's birthday bash
A COMMUNITY facility in Machynlleth aimed at promoting a healthier way of life has held a week of events to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
Bro Ddyfi Leisure Centre was opened in 1990 and local people young and old were invited to take a trip down memory lane as well as have a lot of fun.
Tuesday, 17 August, was the official birthday and a number of events were held, including a special commemorative tree-planting ceremony, treasure hunts, puppet shows, police dog displays and free swimming.
