New Owain Glyndwr Centre to be unveiled

PLANS for a major development which would create jobs, attract thousands of pounds of funding and secure Machynlleth’s position in Welsh history as the ancient capital of Wales will be unveiled in the town next week, the Cambrian News can reveal.
Funding is now being sought for the proposed new National Owain Glyndwr Centre, which would incorporate the Old Parliament Building (pictured), said to be the first location for the Assembly of Wales in 1404.
Although various Owain Glyndwr-related locations and attractions exist in Wales, developers have said it would be “the only dedicated indoor facility of its kind”.
