Family of Charlie delighted at her win

THE father of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here winner, Charlie Brooks, has spoken of his family’s delight at the actresses achievement.Danny Brooks said the family was very happy and celebrated Charlie’s win at home with family and friends.

He said: “I’ve spoken to her a few times since she came out of the jungle. As soon as she won and she was off camera, the first thing she did was ring us.”He believes one of his daughter’s bravest moments in the jungle was her final challenge.

“Eating the witchetty grub and drinking that drink was very brave,” he said. “And my son said, ‘Not many people can say that their sister knocked David Haye out’.”Danny added that they were fly-ing out to Australia on Friday and said he was looking forward to seeing Charlie and Kiki.He said: “She’s a good kid and were very chuffed that she won.

”The 31-year-old actress, who has family and friends in the town beat former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts to the title in the first all female final.
