Call for uni boss to take pay cut to save jobs

A CAMPAIGN has been launched by students in Lampeter urging the vice chancellor of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David to take a pay cut to safeguard lecturer jobs and improve student facilities.

An online petition, started this week, has attracted over 200 signatures and calls for the vice chancellor Prof Medwin Hughes (pictured) to cut his pay to £140,000.
