Praise for RNLI's Paul in Cumbria floods

AN RNLI volunteer from Criccieth Lifeboat Station was on the small screen last weekend after receiving an award for his work during the flooding in Cockermouth.

Paul Filby is delighted to have been presented with a Chief Executive Award in recognition of his valuable contribution to the Flood Rescue Team’s deployment to Cumbria in November.

On his returning from Cockermouth, he was invited to travel to Workington RNLI Lifeboat Station to take part in a special Songs of Praise programme about the devastation caused by the flooding.
