Pupils reminded of ban after vandalism at cemetery

YOUNGSTERS at Penglais School have been reminded that they are banned from cutting through the church cemetery in Llanbadarn following complaints that a crucifix was damaged and reports of children trampling across memorials.

PC Paul Roberts, neighbourhood policing officer, said: “We are taking this appalling crime very seriously and are actively looking for those responsible.

“It has caused a lot of pain and distress to the local community so if anyone knows anything, can they please get in touch.”
