FIREFIGHTERS believe a gorse fire near Mynytho may have been started as a controlled blaze, but left unattended.
Crews were called at around 4.45pm, on Monday, 8 March, to Capel Horeb, Mynytho, near Pwllheli.
Firefighters used beaters to tackle the fire involving 200 square metres of gorse and bracken.
Officers said this week that the fire appears to have been started by controlled burning left unattended.
