One woman and her dog are off to Crufts

A LLŶN woman and her dog are preparing to take on the best in the world at Crufts.

Gillian Barrett, 55, from Llanaelhaearn and her five-year-old papillon bitch Candi will head to the international dog show at Birmingham’s NEC arena on Sunday.

Gillian explained: “We were competing in an agility competition in Kendal and were successful there and that gave us the opportunity to compete at Crufts.”

Gillian has been competing with Candi and many other of her dogs over the years, but this year is her first ever visit to Crufts as a competitor and she is very excited about the prospect.
