Council meets bank bosses to discuss cuts

MEMBERS of Llanidloes Town Council have met this week with representatives from NatWest bank to object to plans to reduce the opening hours of the local branch.


From 21 June, the hours of the Llanidloes branch will reduce from Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm, to just Monday and Thursday only, 10am to 2pm.
 

Councillors have expressed concerns that, if NatWest proceeds with the plans, the other two banks in the town could also reduce their hours.
