Arriva leaves pupils stranded at bus stop

ANGRY parents in Bethania have slammed Arriva Cymru after its school bus failed to turn up last Thursday, leaving children and college students stranded in the early morning.

Mother Ann McSweeney, whose daughter Kerry-Ann relies on the school bus to get to Coleg Ceredigion, is fuming that Arriva are failing the children.

She said: “Kerry-Ann and others who rely on the bus to get into Aberystwyth every morning have been left stranded four times in the last six weeks, and it is just not good enough.

A spokesperson for Arriva has since apologised.
