Crunch talks in bid to stop bank reductions

DO not reduce the opening hours of our bank - that was the message from Llanidloes residents when they met with NatWest representatives for crunch talks.

The Mayor, Cllr John Whittal-Williams, and Joycelin Gray from the town’s chamber of trade attended the meeting last week, along with representatives of Montgomery and Llanfair Caereinion, towns whose branches of the NatWest bank are to see their opening hours reduced dramatically.

On Tuesday 8 June, Mick Bates, Assembly Member for Montgomeryshire hosted a stakeholder meeting to discuss the proposed reduction in services.

Representatives from NatWest were joined in a round table discussion by community representatives.
