Pharmacy burgled for third time in 4 months

POLICE in Blaenau Ffestiniog are again investigating a burglary from a pharmacy in the town, the third such theft from the shop in four months.

The D Powys Davies pharmacy was targeted for a third time over the weekend, when thieves entered the building through a back window, at around 1.10am on Sunday morning, 25 July.

The thieves failed to gain entry into the main dispensary of the shop, but gained access to a room where two large green buckets containing out-of-date medication was stored.

To get to that room, however, the thieves had to scale over a drop of 10 feet to get to the window, before breaking the glass.
