Cambrian Coast Line in need of urgent repair

CONCERN has been raised over the level of maintenance over the Morfa Mawddach to Barmouth Railtrack.

The Cambrian Coast Line is heavily used by trains travelling between Machynlleth and Pwllheli, but the line has suffered cracked sleepers between the lines, dislodged springs and broken-off parts.

Worried train enthusiast, Howard Mainwaring, told the Cambrian News he was shocked by the state of the track, and called for urgent repair work to be carried out.
