Dad films himself raping his baby

POLICE have spoken of the horror and trauma of having to investigate the case of a perverted Ceredigion father who filmed himself raping his 12-week-old son.

The 28-year-old, who boasted about what he was about to do in a paedophile chatroom on the internet, was jailed for a minimum of seven years and told he would not be released until the authorities believed he was no longer a danger to children.

Speaking after sentence was passed at Swansea Crown Court, the officer in charge of the investigation, Dc Louise Davies, based at Aberystwyth police station, said: “This was obviously a pretty horrendous case, and it was a traumatic investigation for all concerned.
