Camera Club
ON Thursday evening, members were treated to an inspirational evening, when professional photographer, Chris Warren, from St Clears, imparted his experiences, of some 30 years.
From his beginnings, in the era of large format film, in the RAF, to his stunning recent, digital images. Chris also introduced us to his many commercial outlets, for digital photography, for those inclined to take the professional route.
The next meeting is on 22 March in the memorial hall, at 7.30pm.
It will be an evening with talented member, Viv Evans, explaining his particular approach to photography.
New members, regardless of experience, are always very welcome.

Cross Inn WI
LAST Monday evening at Pen Cnwc holiday park, Cross Inn WI members and their guests from four local WI groups held their celebration of St David’s Day by partaking of a delicious supper of homemade cawl, bread and cheese, followed by apple pie and cream and tea or coffee.
Then, appetites satiated, the diners’ intellect was challenged by a Welsh quiz which consisted of four sets of questions, some pictorial, some musical, based on our knowledge of Wales past and present.
The competition was fierce between the teams and the repartees were sharp but accompanied by much hilarity.
The final scores were calculated by the quizmistress, Beverley, who presented the winning team with a trophy filled with chocolate eggs.
The team with the lowest score received a wooden spoon!
