Wales has reported more than 400 new cases of Covid-19 today, with one new death from the virus.

Across the country, 418 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded, according to Public Health Wales’ figures.

One new death was recorded, bringing the death toll in Wales since the start of the pandemic remaining at 5,575.

29 of the cases recorded today have been in Gwynedd, with Ceredigion recording four new cases.

Pembrokeshire has recorded 10 cases today with Carmarthenshire recording 18 and Powys seeing six new cases.

Cases per 100,000 population for the seven-day period (15 to 21 June) stand at 25 in Ceredigion and 59 in Gwynedd as the Delta variant spreads across the country.
