No new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in Ceredigion and Gwynedd today, according to the official statistics.

Pembrokeshire and Powys have recorded two new cases each today, with Powys health chiefs warning this morning that the Delta variant had been confirmed in the county, but were not specific on where in the county it has been discovered.

Elsewhere, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Gwynedd all recorded no new cases with just 22 new cases being reported across all of Wales today.

No deaths were recorded in Wales with the total number of Covid-19 related deaths since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 standing at 5,570.

In Wales 2,185,427 people have received their first vaccination and 1,270,606 the second dose.

In Hywel Dda 407,916 vaccinations have been administered up until June 2, 20,859 in the last seven days.

In Carmarthenshire 121,740 first doses have been administered, and 69,163 second doses, Pembrokeshire has seen 84,464 first dose appointments and 47,825 second dose and in Ceredigion 47,391 first doses have been given as well as 26,714 second doses.
