Madam,

In response to Chris Smith (‘Bypass progress welcome’), we do live right opposite the proposed bypass and cannot be more overjoyed at the prospect of seeing it built.

The main road passing our house is so dangerous that it takes extreme caution to step out onto the road. Some blame tourists or youngsters for the speeding. We witness locals who are way past middle age driving at great speed within the 30mph limit. Roll on this bypass.

As Mr Smith mentions, it does state in all land searches prior to purchasing houses in Llanbedr that there is a proposed bypass. Basically, everyone knew about this before they bought their property.

Whomever these eight moaners are, give it up now please. Safety takes precedence!
