Gwynedd Council is looking for more members for the Arfon and Dwyfor Local Access Forum.

The forum advises the council, Natural Resources Wales and others, regarding the improvement of public access to land in the area for the purposes of open-air recreation and the enjoyment of the area (outside the boundaries Snowdonia National Park).

Councillor Gareth Griffith, Gwynedd Council Cabinet member for environment said: “The Local Access Forum plays a very important role in advising the council and its partners about improving access to the countryside throughout the county.

"I would encourage anyone who is interested in becoming a member to submit an application form.”

The forum consists of between 12 and 20 members and meet up to four times a year.
