FIRST Minister Mark Drakeford visited the Centre of Alternative Technology last week to see first hand the work being done at the site.

Following the visit, Chair of CAT’s Board of Trustees Mick Taylor said: “We were delighted to welcome the First Minister to the Centre for Alternative Technology ahead of the COP26 climate change talks in Glasgow.

“We need bold, ambitious, urgent action across all sectors to rapidly reduce greenhouse gas emissions – making changes that can also create new skilled jobs, improve health and wellbeing and reduce fuel poverty.

“The First Minister’s visit was an important opportunity to discuss solutions and to share CAT’s work providing skills and education to help everyone play a part in creating a more sustainable future.”
