Remembrance Day service

This year’s special Remembrance Day service will be held at 11am (please note the change of time) on Sunday, 11 November, led by Rev Bill Fillery.

There is also a very warm welcome from friends and neighbours in Llanfair Clydogau to join them at 2pm for the unveiling by Iris Quan, of their war memorial, followed by their Service of Remembrance, also led by Rev Bill Fillery.

There will be refreshments in Llanfair Hall at 3pm with the opportunity to view the exhibition commemorating all those from Llanfair who took part in the two World Wars. The results of the research carried out by members of the Local History group have been published in a book, which will be available on the day, at £15.

At 7pm at Llanfair-fach, the Battle’s Over beacon will be lit.
