Beer Festival
OVER 900 people attended this year’s beer festival held on Friday, 16 and Saturday, 17 September. Now in its 11th year, this year’s festival was a huge success blessed with glorious weather. As well as selection of over 30 real ales from north and mid-Wales, including for the first time a draught gluten-free beer, and six Welsh ciders, those attending were treated to live entertainment from local acts including amongst others, John ac Alun on Friday and Martyn Rowlands on Saturday. Food pairing with the beer was a theme this year, with hot food supplied by Costume Company from Corwen and a selection of cold food including a variety of cheeses and pies in the marquee. There was even a visit from the Hufenfa’r Castell from Harlech with specially made Guinness ice cream and cider sorbet. Profits raised go to local good causes and the committee wish to thank all their sponsors.
