River festival
A SUCCESSFUL river festival held at Paddlers was once again organised and was well supported and enjoyed by all.
The Friday walk from the Paddlers was quite wet, but the few who joined in enjoyed the short walk.

Library
ONCE again a full hall met for our parachute event at the library on Thursday, 22 August and it was lovely to see so many present for games, stories and lots of fun.
The next one will be during the half term holidays please support the local library.
Recently Sali Mali enjoyed her birthday party and meeting all the children.
The Summer Reading Challenge until 28 September for children aged between four and 11 years old.
Read at least six library books and collect stickers and rewards. They receive a certificate when they finish.
Strawberry tea
A GREAT afternoon was had by all present at the strawberry tea, held at the church hall on Friday, 23 August.

CYNHALIWYD noson o farnu gwartheg godro Sioe Llandysul ym Mlaencwmpridd ar nos Fawrth, 20 Awst. Prif enillwyr oedddan 18 oed: Nia Thomas, St Ishmael’s; dan 26 oed: Ieuan James, Troedyraur; oedolion: Tony Hack.
Show signs
YET again, well supported and fantasic boards were presented at the competition for primary schools to advertise this year’s Llandysul Show, thanks to all who competed and worked hard.
They were judged by the presidents, Robert and Shirley Jones, Tysul Vets who travelled around the area look out for the beautiful signs.
The show will be held next Saturday, 7 September at Hengae fields - a day out for all the family.
