Coffee morning

A Coffee morning on Saturday, 17 November at Chatwood, Longbridge Street, from 10am until noon will raise money for the work of Medicin Sans Frontieres helping people in Yemen.

Llanidloes Refugee Support group welcomes donations of cakes and biscuits, and are also collecting small and medium men’s clothes and shoes, blankets and toiletries for refugees in France and beyond. Please take all items to Chatwood that morning.

Remembrance Sunday services

Services for Remembrance Sunday on 11 November:

Trefeglwys for a United service in the Chapel at 10am;

Llandinam for a United service in the Chapel at 10am;

Llanidloes in St Idloes Church at 10.45am;

Carno in St. John’s Church at 10am

Llanwnog and Caersws for a Cytun service held in Caersws Methodist Chapel at 10am;

Llangurig: United Service in the Church at 2.30pm.

Craft church

craft activities, worship, food and fun at St Idloes Church Hall on 9 November, from 5pm to 7pm. Free entry, donations welcome, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Companion dog show

Newtown and District Canine Society is holding a Companion Dog Show in aid of Llanidloes Hospital League of Friends, at the Community Centre, Llanidloes on Sunday, 18 November, entries from 11am.
