Croquet club

THE club is running a tombola stall from 10am to 4pm at the Street Market on 27 July.

Family Fun Day

A MADE In Llanidloes Family Fun Day is being held at the Charter Market with all the regular stall holders on Great Oak Street on 27 July, noon to 9pm.

The road will be closed to traffic with the street full of stalls, local bands on stage, a talent show, pet show, children’s fancy dress competition, display by Electric Classic Car Company and more.

Quilt association

TO mark 25 years since the first major summer exhibition of antique quilts in Llanidloes, this year’s exhibition, Silver Threads, will feature a diverse selection of quilts from the association’s own collection.

THE exhibition opens at the Minerva Arts Centre on Saturday 3 August and runs until 7th September.

Upper Severn Scarecrow Festival

IN aid of Wales Air Ambulance, the Upper Severn Scarecrow Festival is being held from Friday, 26 to Tuesday, 30 July.

There will be five miles of scarecrows from Glan y Nant through to Hafren Forest. Fun for all the family.
