Firefighters car wash

THE National Charity Car Wash takes place at the Fire Station on Saturday, 19 November, 9am-1pm.

Christmas Fair

THERE will be a pre-Christmas Fair and Table Top Sale at the Community Centre, on Saturday, 19 November, 11am-2pm with a performance at 11am by the Tenovus Choir, all in aid of the Community Centre Renovation Fund.

Neighbourhood policing

THE neighbourhood policing team will hold a surgery at the Police Station on the first Friday of every month between 4pm and 5pm.

Bingo

THERE will be bingo at the Rugby Club on Wednesday, 23 November in aid of the Christmas Lights. Doors open 7.30pm, 50p entry for adults - includes tea/coffee and a biscuit.

Jazz Men

THE Casey Greene Jazz Trio play in The Function Room at The Old Mill at 7pm on Saturday (19 November).Admittance on the door - members of Llanidloes Music and Arts Club are free. Any inquiries call 01686 411028.

Duke of Edinburgh

PUPILS from Llanidloes High School have completed an arduous two day expedition in order to gain the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. The team of 31 pupils from years 10 and 11 was led by teachers, Jamie Jones and Dan Craig. The pupils were assessed by DofE instructor, Matt Jones of Staylittle Out-door Pursuit Centre. The challenge consisted of an 18km walk on day one and a 16km walk on day two.
