A Llandre man has been found not guilty of two assaults following a trial.

Michael South, of Penlon, Lon Glan-Fred, denied two charges of assault by beating of Glenda Calvert and Anthony Calvert at Ynyslas, near Borth on 10 December last year when he appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 8 June.

The 31-year-old was found not guilty of both charges by magistrates following a trial at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 10 August.­
