Madam,

Dr Rachel Davies is a lady dealing with patients, perhaps one of the most difficult of challenges, to which she always delivers of her best.

Eighteen months ago I had my first appointment with Dr Davies. I described my symptoms and before she examined me she said: “If I hurt you, tell me”. Her concern for my well-being was paramount and I will always remember that. Her concern for her patient could not be faulted.

Examination over, I was sent for tests, a scan and a visit to the consultant where I was told the only answer to my problem was to have surgery.

Prior to my surgery, there were more visits to Dr Davies. I received the same professional service each time I saw her. I can only say she is the perfect example of the family doctor. Her rapport with patient, her care, her overall pleasant manner, with a smile and occasional laugh makes one feel at ease in difficult circumstances.

Thank you, Dr Davies, for your devotion of the patient and especially the time and service you have given me. These qualities do not go unnoticed. Money cannot buy these qualities in a human. I feel privileged to be a patient.
