The Easter Bunny was spotted out and about in a Ceredigion village yesterday, delivering treats to local children who couldn’t go out on an Easter egg hunt because of the coronavirus lockdown.

Gordon Reid hopped around Pontrhydfendigaid dressed as an Easter Bunny for the children, giving Easter treats to young villagers.

Gordon, 56, works for the parks and gardens department for the local council, and is also a part-time DJ.

His wife Pamela explained why her husband wanted to spread a little cheer this Easter: “The children can’t go on any Easter egg hunts so Gordon thought he would do it and leave a few Easter eggs for them near their properties, and they can wave at the Bunny out of their window.

“He likes to do things for charity, he’s a game for a laugh and he likes to see children happy.”
