TYWYN youngster, Owen Angood has won a competition to design a Christmas card.

The Year 6 pupil at Ysgol Penybryn is pictured here with his winning design.

The competition was set by the Welsh Government to design a Christmas card for Mr Mark Drakeford and his cabinet members. The theme was ‘A Green Christmas’.

Education Minister Jeremy Miles has chosen Owen’s design for his Christmas Card.

“ We are very proud of him as a school and look forward to receiving a card,” said a spokesperson for Ysgol Penybryn.
