Over 2,500 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded across Wales today along with five deaths.
The latest figures show that 2,582 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded across Wales, with the rate of infection nationwide dropping slightly to 699.7 cases per 100,000 population.
31 new cases of the virus have been recorded in Ceredigion today – the lowest daily total of any local authority in Wales.
Carmarthenshire has recorded 103 new cases and Pembrokeshire has recorded 100.
Three of the five deaths recorded today have been in the Hywel Dda Health Board region of Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, taking the total number of suspected Covid-19 fatalities in the region to 563.
No new deaths have been recorded in the Betsi Cadwaladr region of north Wales or Powys, with their totals remaining at 1,066 and 76 respectively.
