Five deaths have been recorded in Wales today along with 2,467 new cases of coronavirus.
57 new cases have been recorded in Ceredigion today, according to data released this lunchtime by Public Health Wales.
Carmarthenshire has recorded 183 cases with 112 new positive cases in Powys and 61 in Pembrokeshire.
The rate of infection across Wales continues to rise with the national rate now standing at 522.7 cases per 100,000 population.
The rate of infection over a seven-day period up to 5 September stands at 431.9 cases per 100,000 in Ceredigion.
The rate in Carmarthenshire is 684.4 with Pembrokeshire’s rate standing at 445.9.
Powys’ rate is 400.2 with Gwynedd’s standing at 458.4.
