Carnival week

THE carnival week starts on 19 June with a ‘Cymanfa Ganu’ at Aberduar Chapel at 6.30pm.On Monday, 20 June, there is a car treasure hunt to start from the rugby club at 6pm. £5 per car.Tuesday, 21 June, will see bingo in the rugby club at 8pm.On Wednesday, 22 June, a walking treasure hunt will start from Tanygraig at 6.30pm. Winners get £30.A quiz night will be held on Friday, 24 June, at the Black Lion at 7pm. £10 entry per team with a £40 prize for the winning team.On Saturday, 25 June, the carnival day will start at the rugby field at 1pm. This year’s theme is Hollywood. Sports to follow.Evening entertainment at the Black Lion will start at 6pm with a disco for the children and then at 8pm, entertainment for the adults with singer Carys Mai and a disco.
