A MOCK wedding was held in Llanidloes when a large gathering in the community centre performed a caricature of a perfect wedding to raise money for palliative care in Llanidloes Hospital.

The Mock Wedding Committee, pictured from left, are: Tracy Lawrence, Gaynor Davies, Mori Edwards, Carol Evans and Lindy Jones.

They are celebrating a total collection of £7,050 for Llanidloes Palliative Care. £1,000 of this total was collected in a sponsored head shave on the night by Carol Evans.

The committee, which also comprises Cherie Crisp (not present), wanted to thank everybody who helped in any way to make the event such a big success, raising £7,050.
