The annual Cwm Rheidol Fun Run raised over £500 for Ysgol Gynradd Penllwyn.

Rheidol Visitor centre hosted Ysgol Gynradd Penllwyn’s third annual Fun Run on Sunday, 15 October in Cwmrheidol.

Fundraising came from the registration of 92 runners for the 5k and 2k races along the valley road in Cwmrheidol, as well as donations from the sale of hot drinks and cakes.

Winners received a water bottle from the Vale of Rheidol Railway, medal and certificate and a bottle of water donated by Exchange Stores, Capel Bangor and all runners received medals sponsored by Statkraft and refreshments supplied by Tescos and Morrisons.

These were presented by Kate Heaven from Statkraft.
