OVER many years, a volunteer group have been out every day no matter what the weather delivering daily papers in the Tanygrisiau area. Under the title of Tanygrisiau Community Paper Round, the volunteers were in for a nice surprise as last Saturday they were presented with a cheque for £3,000 after winning the Hope House Christmas Raffle 2015. The presentation took place at The Tap (Kings Head) where Roger and Glen had provided refreshments free of charge and were thanked by for their generosity. The windfall will be donated to charities and other deserving causes which will be decided by the committee.
