A CHEQUE for £1,050 has been presented to Mia Lloyd by the Cardigan Ladies Rugby Club committee.

The money was raised through doing a sponsored walk together with a bucket collection at the rugby club.

Mia, who has been diagnosed with metastatic osteosarcoma, has recently undergone chemotherapy treatment at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales in Cardiff.

Mia is pictured with her father Eurig, members of the Ladies Rugby Club committee Pam Morris, Angela Czech and Margaret Thomas as well as fellow walkers.

The committee would like to thank everyone for the support shown which has enabled them to present this amount to Mia.
