I agree with Keith Barber about the dangers and hazards encountered on the street through Llanbedr. To add to this, there is the awful congestion in holiday periods.

I prefer to call the bypass a relief road or skirting route, as a bypass to me is big and wide, i.e Y Felinheli. Such a road would also reduce fumes, noise, excess weight on the ancient bridge and allow visitors a more pleasant experience. The so-called bypass has been pegged out twice before since 1960, so it is nothing new.
