A NEW project aimed at improving wellbeing in Ceredigion has been launched.
During a Ceredigion Public Services Board meeting, member organisations came together to plant a wellbeing tree to set the roots of the work surrounding the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.
Next year, a five-year Local Well-being Plan will be put in place by the PSB that will say how organisations will work together to improve the economic, social, environmental and cultural wellbeing of Ceredigion.
Before the plan is put in place the PSB says it needs to find out what wellbeing means to as many people in Ceredigion as possible to ensure the plan is as useful as it can be.
An engagement campaign has been running over the summer months through the means of a Well-being Survey as well as promotional and participatory work at community events and focus groups.
Cllr Ellen ap Gwynn, chair of the Public Services Board, said: “We are interested to find out what makes people feel good about living in the county."
