The Met Office has issued another weather warning for parts of Meirionnydd and Dwyfor, with rain, sleet and snow expected in some areas.

The yellow warning has been issued from 6pm this evening until 2pm tomorrow (Thursday).

It follows yesterday’s warning about ice.

The Met Office warned that this evening “ice is likely to form across parts of Scotland, North Wales and North England leading to some travel disruption along with snow for some parts”.

A spokesperson said: “Showers of rain, sleet and snow will move across parts of Scotland, North Wales and North England through Wednesday evening and into Thursday. Whilst not all areas will see these, where they do fall ice is expected to form.

“The showers are also likely to fall as snow at times, mainly above 200m but to some lower levels, particularly on Thursday morning over Southern Scotland.”
