A LEADING heart charity is looking for volunteers in mid Wales to help them raise much-needed funds.
Welsh Hearts places defibrillators into communities and delivering CPR and defibrillator training across the country.
They are regarded as a heart charity at the centre of saving lives in Wales and are calling on volunteers across west Wales to help them place collection tins in the hope of raising £6,000.
The charity is looking for volunteers to give up just an hour of their time to help raise funds that will go straight into the Welsh Hearts, Heart Screening Wales campaign.
Since the beginning of the year the charity has been heading to towns across Wales to deliver heart screening to those aged between 12-35 years old. Each session lasts one day and costs the charity in the region of £6,000.
An army of west Wales volunteers helping to raise this target would enable the charity to continue providing this proven, life-saving project in the Dyfed-Powys area.
To volunteer for the collection box project please email [email protected] or call 07422 523734. Welsh Hearts will supply you with collection tins and literature.
