Following a successful night to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing by Eryri and Ynys Môn YFC, chairperson Miriam Williams and Non Williams presented cheques to other charities.

A cheque of £500 each were presented to the Welsh Air Ambulance in a windy Dinas Dinlle, and to Ynys Môn and Gwynedd Mind. Two charities that are essential in Eryri and Ynys Môn rural areas. This following an event held by both YFC to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing within our farming communities.

“It’s a privilege to be able to support these two important charities” said Miriam Williams, Eryri county chairperson.

Non Williams, Ynys Môn county chairperson added: “We are grateful to everyone who supported us in our wellbeing evening, without the support of local companies and everyone who attended presenting these cheques would not be possible.”

£2,000 was raised at the event, and profit was split between Welsh Air Ambulance, Mind Ynys Môn and Gwynedd, and both YFC federations.
