A vehicle has been caught short by the tide in New Quay this afternoon.

Gary Marsh – who took these photos – says the 4x4 vehicle, which has a boat and trailer attached, is almost completely submerged on the beach in New Quay this afternoon.

Watching the drama unfold, Gary said: “Vehicle almost engulfed by the tide on New Quay beach. Nobody in the 4x4. Driver has walked to safety.”
