Motorists are being advised to avoid the A44 between Aberystwyth and Ponterwyd after a crash saw the road closed.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: "TRAFFIC UPDATE | The A44 between Aberystwyth and Ponterwyd is currently closed due to a collision. Please avoid the area if possible. Thank you."
