A HOLIDAYMAKER has died after he is thought to have suffered a heart attack whilst cycling near Aberdyfi.

Emergency services rushed to the scene along the A493 between Gwelfor Road in Aberdyfi and Ffordd Cadfan in Tywyn at around 2pm on Thursday 14 July.

The road was closed in both directions for two hours.

A man in his 50s from the Telford area was airlifted to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, in a serious condition, but has since died.
